Vikings Long Snapper Kevin McDermott Lost Part Of Pinkie During Game

According to a report, Minnesota Vikings long snapper Kevin McDermott’s hand got caught up in some helmets and his pinkie suffered the consequences.

Courtney Cronin from is reporting that McDermott lost the tip of his pinky during the Thursday night game against the Rams in Los Angeles.

It appears the play where it happened was when Dan Bailey made a 37-yard field goal that banked off the right upright. McDermott missed the next two special team plays where he usually would’ve been involved.

It sounds like McDermott will be able to continue to play with the injury.
