Fred Heidmann, the Mayor of Nisswa, was arrested this past weekend and the incident was captured on video and posted online.

According to the Brainerd Dispatch, Heidmann was watching and recording a traffic stop that was happening near his business and began to walk across the highway towards the vehicle that was pulled over. It was reported that the officers told Heidmann that he could record the traffic stop but must do it from a safe distance.

The report states that Heidmann started arguing with the officers and after being warned five times was arrested, cited and released at the scene.
