What is your favorite back road in the Brainerd Lakes area to go and see the fall colors? In an area that is full of beauty it may be difficult to choose a specify route while going out in search of the fall spectacle. Friday morning on B93.3, Bill asked our listeners what their favorite back road would be for looking at the leaves.

In most areas, the autumn colors peak and only last for a short while at this time of year. Despite the weather this weekend it looks as if our peak color season is here. Last week was the peak for the North Shore of Lake Superior and dew thousands of tourist up route 61. If traffic was any indication, a jaunt through Two Harbors rivaled the busiest weekends of summer. Many fall travelers build a trip around where the colors are best for the weekend.
