USA Today put out their list of the worst city to live in for every state and St. Cloud was named for Minnesota.
In their post, 24/7 Wall Street, which is a USA TODAY content partner with financial news and commentary, came up with an index that included 37 measures that fit in eight categories including:
- crime
- economy
- education
- environment
- health
- housing
- infrastructure
- leisure
St. Cloud was the Minnesota location for Worst City to live in. It was stated that St. Cloud had the highest poverty rate (21.6%) out of the eligible cities. Other factors included being Minnesota’s highest annual unemployment rate (4.1%) and also regressing in population (1% lower population than five years ago).
