Spooks Descend on Downtown for Halloween Fun

If you are looking for some fun this Halloween season, here is a list of a few ideas – from no-scare to low-scare… from high-scare to INSANE-scare… Check out these events as you make your Spooktacular plans!

Spooktacular, 2023 – A Destination Downtown Brainerd Coalition Event

Members of the Destination Downtown Brainerd Coalition announce details about the 2023 Downtown Brainerd Spooktacular event.

Trick or Treating fun in downtown Brainerd from 11am-1pm. This year’s activities will include a kid’s costume parade, spooky scavenger hunt, fun photo opportunities, hot apple cider, and more!

10:15 am         Lineup for Kids Costume Parade in the Bremer Bank parking lot. The first 100 kids get a FREE Smores kit.

10:30 am         Parade starts! We will be leaving the Bremer Bank parking lot, walking the sidewalk along S. 8th Street to Laurel Street. A police escort will lead us West on Laurel to the Laurel Street parking lot (between Sage and Crow Wing Food Coop). Thank you to Bremer Bank for sponsoring the parade!

**Laurel Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10:30-11 am**

11 am-1 pm    Trick or Treating at participating downtown businesses. Check the Destination Downtown Brainerd  Facebook page for an updated list of businesses.

11 am-4 pm    Photo Scavenger Hunt. Find all eight of the photo stops and enter to win prizes. Pick up your clue sheet the day of the event at the parade start or visit us on the corner of 7th and Laurel (in front of EL Menk).
