The city of Brainerd is about to begin their official celebration of 150 years! The week of events kicks off on Saturday September 18th at 5pm as Mayor Dave Badeaux gets it started with a proclamation and current and former members of the city council will make brief comments on the history and development of the city all on the steps of Brainerd City Hall!
Other events throughout the week include:
Historic walking tours through downtown Brainerd. (Get your tickets early as tour size is limited).
A Brainerd /Crow Wing County Airport 75th Anniversary Carnival on the 18th.
Live music and fun in downtown Brainerd on the 21st at the “Here for Good Market”.
A celebration with the Brainerd Noon Rotary Club at noon on the 21st.
Brainerd Trivia night a Rumbly Hall along with the Brainerd Lakes Chamber Business After Hours on the 22nd.
A full slate of events at the Northern Pacific Center on the 23rd that will include kids games in the afternoon and an evening BBQ followed by fireworks.
A tour of the historic Crow Wing County Courthouse and a Historical Museum open house on the September 24th.
A Gregory Park celebration Noon – 4 pm on the 25th.
A street fest with the Brainerd Jaycees on the 25th.
