According to an email sent out, Paul Gazelka (R-East Gull Lake) announced that he is stepping down as the Senate Majority Leader.
In the email, Gazelka mentions that he is looking forward to letting someone else serve as the Senate Majority Leader while he pursues his next chapter in politics.
