Sam Hunt Arrested For DUI In Nashville

After driving down the wrong way of a East Nashville road, Sam Hunt was arrested early Thursday morning for a DUI and having an open container.

Hunt was booked into the Metro jail around 6:30 am. After getting reports of a car going in the wrong direction down a road and swerving, police stopped Hunt. Reports say Hunt smelled like alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. Two beer cans were also seen next to Hunt in the vehicle. 

Reports say Hunt had a blood alcohol content of .173 at the time he was arrested. 

Hunt was released from jail around 9 am after posting bail of $2,500 and a court date of Jan. 17, 2020 has been set.
