One person was reportedly injured after an oven explosion Thursday afternoon, Dec. 26, at Tasty Pizza North in Pequot Lakes. Apparently there was work being done on the oven when the explosion occurred.
Pequot Lakes Fire Chief Tom Nelson said firefighters responded to check for gas leaks, and air care couldn’t fly because of overcast weather. One person was taken by ambulance.
Police officer Ryan Franz said his department would issue a news release with more information. We will continue to monitor this story, and update with new information as it comes in.
