We knew winter wasn’t over. The National Weather Service is forecasting a snow-filled 24-hours beginning Monday afternoon.
That’s the high-end expectations. More of a scare-factor image.
Most typical models say the BLA should end up with 3-6 inches of new accumulation by Tuesday afternoon.
Based off the latest predictions, the Brainerd area has a 93% chance of at least 2″, a 71% chance at 4 inches or more and a 28% chance of 6″ and above.
While the amount of accumulation is still to be decided… it’s safe to say, more snow is on the way.
