When you think of your favorite country music stars, most of the time they are from or live in the south. At the same time there are numerous talented musicians, bands and singers who have had the opportunity to have to keep a shovel in the band van. For them we have the Midwest CMA.
The Midwest CMA was founded in 2017 to establish a network of musicians, businesses, and fans cultivating a country music community in the Midwest. It is structured as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit and is run entirely through the generous support of their team of volunteers. The association provides various resources to artists to help hone their craft, advance their career, and give back to the community.

The Midwest CMA Music and Award show is all about connecting country music fans and industry leaders with our amazing Midwest artists and celebrating the flourishing Midwest country music scene. Last year’s Music and Award Show SOLD OUT to 550 artists, fans and industry leaders at the Medina Ballroom. This year they have increased the capacity to 750 to accommodate the growing interest of our industry leaders and country fans.

B93.3 has been invited to participate this year and we will be interviewing the artist on the red carpet before the awards. KBLB Morning Show host, Wild Bill Satre, will be doing the honors of chatting with all of the groups and artists and presenting at the awards show on Sunday night. As an added bonus he will be broadcasting the Monday morning show on location from the Medina Ballroom the site of the awards show.

On his Facebook page Bill stated:
“I am super excited and honored to have been asked to be a presenter in the Midwest CMA’s this year. As I was going over my 2019 year in review the one thing that stood out was all of the new artists we have had the chance to meet and work with this year. Erin Grand, Anderson Daniels, The Plott Hounds and our new best friend Dariann Leigh. From Lakes Jam to the Ice Fishing Exrtravaganza we have loved having our Midwest CMA artists “B” part of our lakes are this year.”
