Join B93.3 Morning Show host Bill Satre, as the emcee at the Brainerd Memorial Day Services. The events in Brainerd begin at 8:30 with a memorial wreath going in to the Mississippi River at the Laurel Street Bridge to commemorate all of those lost at sea. The ceremony moves east on Laurel to the All Veterans Memorial next to the Historic Court House. At 8:45 we will have a short service to remember those lives lost defending our freedom. A wreath will also be placed there with displays of the colors and more.

The events of the Brainerd Memorial Day then shift to North East and the annual Memorial Day Parade. At 10am the parade will once again go up 3rd Avenue NE from Washington Street to the 3rd Avenue gate of Evergreen Cemetery. By around 10:30am we will be set for the official Memorial Day Ceremony. This year, along with honoring Gold Star families there will be reading s presented by Zach Vogt, Eagle Scout; Jan Lambert, VFW; and Serena Schreifels Miss Minnesota United States. The guest speaker this year is Bob Nelson, long time Crow Wing County Veterans Services Officer.

After the events honoring the fallen there will be a free picnic lunch for veterans and their families at the Brainerd American Legion, hosted by the legion and the Brainerd Elks Lodge.

Here on B93.3 this means we also will have a special morning show with none other than Lakes Jam alumni Chris Janson. To help usher in the unofficial start to the summer season, Chris will team with B93.3 Radio to host a four-hour Summer Kick-Off special.

The four-hour morning show, will feature summer-themed music from Chris and his friends, including Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and more. In addition, many of the artists will share their favorite summer memories and activities.
