The 2019 edition of Destination Downtown in Brainerd is here and the finalists have been announced.

The three finalists for the 2019 Destination Downtown have been announced. Here is what there is to know about one of the finalists, Minnesota Makerspace.

Description: Creating a community takes tools, teamwork and craftsmanship. That’s the premise behind Minnesota Makerspace. Entrepreneurs Trevor Kruse and Chris Smith will unlock high-quality tools, materials and technology in the heart of Downtown Brainerd, offering members access to bring DIY ideas to life. Step-by-step classes will allow amateurs to build unique home décor with personal flair. Their motto: Together We Create!

Public voting is happening from November 11th-15th. You can vote by either visiting downtownbrainerd.org or you can also cast a ballot at the Brainerd Lakes Chamber office during normal hours. The winner will be revealed at the Chamber’s Celebration of Excellence on November 21 at Cragun’s.
