
Scott Hall is a veteran of the US Army who served 8 years and was deployed in Afghanistan during in 2004 and 2005. Not only has Scott seen the effects of PTSD on fellow vets, he has also experienced it first hand. After 14 year he says that he finally realized that he was struggling with PSTD and Anxiety. He is doing well now after getting help but also recognizes the needs of many more veterans that are not doing as well. The many veterans who are suffering from psychological challenges are also experiencing issues with homelessness. This is where Scott has found his
Scott works as the ReStore Manager at Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity & ReStore. As a veteran and as someone working to fight homelessness in our area Scott has found his calling to the aid of a fellow veteran, Dennis Peterson Jr. In turn he is also bringing additional awareness to PSDT and veteran housing issues here in the Lakes Area through his role at Habitat For Humanity. Scott will be setting out July 14th to ride his bike in the Habitat 500. Along with Jessica Walters they will each take a leg of the 500 mile trek to raise money for a very special Lakes Area Habitat For Humanity build in Deerwood in the fall.
