According to their website, two of the screens in Lakes 12 Theatre will have luxury seating starting on Friday, November 16th.

The Brainerd Dispatch back in September reported that luxury recliners were coming to Brainerd. Now the public will get to test them out in two screens starting this Friday.

Theaters #1 and #2 will be the first with the recliners. With the transition to these recliners, Lakes 12 theater is eliminating around 60% of the current seating.

Personally I am extremely excited for this. When I lived in Duluth they made the transition to luxury seats and it was the greatest thing ever. Usually with these recliners also comes reserved seating, which I am all for.

Guess I might have to go check out the new Fantastic Beasts movie this weekend now. You know, for reporting purposes…
