After going to the theater this weekend to check out ‘A Star Is Born’, It’s all I’ve been thinking about, it’s that good.

I’m a self-proclaimed movie nut. I love the whole experience of going to a movie. Snagging a medium pop and some plain M&M’s at the concession stand. Making sure to get to my seat early enough to not miss the trailers, turning my phone off before the movie. I love it all.

‘A Star Is Born’ has been on the radar ever since the first trailer came out in June. The buzz early on was this was going to be a movie that surprised a lot of people. It’s the directorial debut for Bradley Cooper, who is also one of the stars of the film. How would that go? Cooper actually hired a voice coach and worked with him 20 hours a week to make sure he could hold his own for the movie. I was also really curious to see how Lady Gaga would transition to the big screen as an actress.

So after reading all this and finally sneaking away Saturday afternoon to the theater, you can imagine how excited I was to see ‘A Star Is Born’ finally. I won’t spoil anything, but I will say that it’s easily one of my favorite movies of the year. It’s so good I might go see it again, which is rare because I traditionally don’t see a movie more than once. It’s stuck in my head for over 48 hours. I felt like 10 emotions within two hours watching this movie. I got legit goosebumps more than once. I’ve probably listened to the soundtrack start to finish three separate times since Saturday.

Here’s a taste of the one song that was released a week before the movie came out.

Don’t be surprised to see this movie get some Oscar nominations. All I’m saying is if you’re on the fence, just go. You won’t regret it.
