One of the area’s best spots to talk puck and get a pair of skates sharpened is closing up shop.

Hockey House located in downtown Brainerd is in the process of closing.

“It’s time for us to say goodbye.

After 7 hockey seasons and one unforgettable experience, Hockey House is closing its doors.

Last May, we made the decision that the 2018-2019 hockey season would be Hockey House’s last. Our goals and priorities have changed and we are very excited to move on.

We have accomplished everything we wanted to do as business owners and are grateful to have had the opportunity.

Our final sale starts March 1 and runs until the shelves are empty and the racks are gone. Stop by for some great deals while the getting is good.

Thank you for allowing us to play a small role in your hockey life – it has been our privilege.

All the Best,
Dan and Amy

Owners Dan and Amy Anderson opened the doors of Hockey House in July of 2012, but their love of hockey goes back much longer than that… like their first date! Amy and Dan watched a little hockey on all-important date #1. Talk about true love.

So, since hockey is full of great cliches, here’s another… all good things must come to an end. I don’t blame Dan and Amy one bit, while they have loved their work, the hectic schedules and extreme hours they worked must be rewarded… with a touch of normalcy and a bit more family time.

Stick taps to the Andersen’s on a good run. We wish them all the best in their next venture.
