The official HBO YouTube account has released a teaser video for their segment on the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza was released recently and looks AWESOME.

Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel is one of the flagship shows on HBO, with the description on their website stating that “Real Sports is TV’s most-honored sports journalism series, with 32 Sports Emmy Awards, including 18 for Outstanding Sports Journalism. Now in its 25th season, the monthly magazine broadcast produces unchartered investigative pieces and in-depth profiles from across the sports spectrum.”

The episode with the Ice Fishing Extravaganza will air on Tuesday, February 26th at 9:00 pm CT.

The preview itself looks awesome. The drone footage of the sheer volume of people out on the lake for the event is crazy to see. You kind of take it for granted how normal ice fishing is around here. Have you ever tried telling someone about it that isn’t from the midwest? They look at you like you’re trying to explain an alien. It’ll be interesting to see how the frame the event for the segment.
