This week we spend some time getting to know a young musical talent that is getting noticed! She writes and performs her own music and at the age of 16 is on the way to great things. On the radio and online Hailey James is our guest this week on the Couch Concert.
Hailey found her place on stage as a weekly featured artist the summer of 2018 at Country Nites Saloon in Hasting, MN at the age of 14 years old. Since then, she has joined the Midwest Country Music Association, the Minnesota Music Coalition and Songtown and has been writing songs and performing them all over the Twin Cities, MN and WI. Her musical inspiration comes from artists like Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini and Lauren Alaina. Destined for stardom this young musician has an ear for music and first learned how to play guitar by watching YouTube videos. It is Hailey’s dream to share her original songs and be part of the singer/songwriter scene in Nashville.
