After getting into a dispute on a flight from Washington D.C. to Connecticut, country singer Gretchen Wilson was arrested after landing.
According to TMZ, Wilson was arrested for 2nd-degree breach of peace Tuesday night. She’s scheduled to appear in court Wednesday just ahead of her performance at the Mohegan Sun casino. Bail was set at $1,000.
Wilson allegedly exchanged hostile words with someone who was using the only bathroom on the flight and wasn’t happy with waiting and eventually got into a shoving match. The rest of the flight it was reported that Wilson and the other passenger kept making threatening hand gestures towards each other down the isle and was warned by flight attendants to stop.
To make all of this worse, this was in first class and the flight was a total of 80 minutes long.
Right after landing, Wilson was met at the gate by State Police and allegedly threw her hands up and asked to be arrested.
