First COVID-19 Related Death Of Crow Wing County Resident Confirmed By Minnesota Department Of Health

According to a press release sent out by Crow Wing County, it has been confirmed by the Minnesota Department of Health that the first official death of a resident in Crow Wing County due to COVID-19 has occurred.

The resident was a male in his 70’s and the death was confirmed late on Monday, April 27th. 

Crow Wing County Board Chairman, Paul Koering was quoted in the press release stating: 

“Our condolences go out to this man’s family and friends. We’ve all seen reports of outbreak-related deaths in other states and counties in Minnesota. This is another sad milestone in the battle against COVID-19 in our community. This Crow Wing County death reminds us how important it is to continue working to protect each other during this outbreak.”
