According to a press release sent out by the Brainerd Police Department, a robbery at Bane Park on December 28th involved a firearm being brandished.

The press release states that on Tuesday, December 28th around 6pm a firearm was pulled on a 21-year-old male while he was meeting with the suspects in the parking lot of the park.

The victim met with the suspects and a gun was brandished as the suspects attempted to rob the victim of his personal items. The victim mentioned that he knew some of the suspects that were involved.

Investigators have identified one of the suspects, a 19-year-old make who resides in Hillman, MN and was taken into custody on Wednesday, December 29th.
