The Rialto Theatre in Aitkin and Lakes 12 in Baxter are going old-school and setting up some classic movies for fans to see.

Due to the lack of new releases, theaters are picking out some gems to show in the interim for movie fanatics to get their fill. Rialto is lining up a set of spectacular movies for the next month and change:

Rialto is limited to 68 movie-goers per showing so they ask you attend prepared to socially distance yourselves. You can order your tickets online for the nightly 7:15p shows and 1:15 Sunday matinees. Tickets are only $6 and their concessions are available.

Lakes 12, with more screens is offering 8 different classics this weekend.

If you’re comfortable with it, go see a classic movie! Oh and to mix things up… don’t sneak in candy for a while. It may cost a little more at the theater, but just see it as your way of expressing your gratitude that they are re-open!
