BREAKING: Double Homicide Being Investigated In Long Prairie

The Todd County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspected double homicide in Long Prairie.

The Sheriff’s Department received a call around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday of a man found dead at his home. The caller informed authorities they went to the home to check on an individual who had not returned phone calls. When Todd County deputies arrived on scene they discovered two adult victims inside deceased.

Authorities are currently looking for 23-year-old Dylan Bennett, who is a suspect. Bennett’s believed to be driving a blue 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe with MN plate BCK 487.

Todd County Sheriff’s Dept. says there is no threat to public safety at this time.

The Sheriff’s Office says the names of the two adults will be released once family is notified.
