Brainerd Outdoors has been a bit different over the past few weeks. Bill Satre and Kevin Jackson have been splitting the work load while Brian Moon takes some time off. In the process the hosts have found some common ground.

Kevin Jackson has been the long time host of Paul Bunyan Country Outdoors, on the air at KBUN in Bemidji. As of the beginning of the year he has taken on a role of assisting with contributions of guests out of the northern parts of our lakes area. Kevin even was a vital part of the traditional Brainerd Jaycees Icefishing Broadcast, that was anything but “as usual” this year.

B93.3 Program Director Bill Satre has also been assisting with the production of the outdoors show and anchored the Jaycees Broadcast in January. “I have heard from so many people how much this local program means to them.” says Bill. “From the pros to the novice like me, we are getting out and enjoying the place we live more than ever and this show is like a tour guide to the best of our lakes and woods.”

In the coming weeks we will start referring to the show as Paul Bunyan Country Outdoors. What this means is that we are expanding to include more of our region while still focusing our attention on the people and places within our Brainerd Lakes Area. In addition we will continue to have the great guests that you have come to expect from Brainerd Outdoors with Brian Moon.
