The heat is on… The Lakes Area’s newest quick-stop restaurant, Firehouse Subs, is set to open next week!

In fact, Monday, December 16th will be their official first day of operation. Bob and Larissa Sullivan own and operate the franchise in Baxter. Store hours are slated to be 10a-9p Monday thru Saturday with their Sunday hours 10:30-9. Located on Dellwood Drive up Hwy 371 near Menards, Firehouse subs also offers an online order option and rewards program.

Founded 25 years ago by brothers Chris & Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs serves a variety of hot gourmet sub sandwiches with fitting names to said grub such as the Engineer, the Hook & Ladder, Steamer and many more.

Yet another spectacular addition to the food landscape in the Brainerd Lakes Area… I can’t wait to get my paws on one. I have been told that their meatball subs are superb! Looking at the menu, I don’t know how I am supposed to decide which one to try first!
