U.S. News is back with their yearly “Best High Schools” list. In  Minnesota, the Math and Science Academy in Woodbury is ranked as the best high school, followed by Nova Classical Academy Upper School in St. Paul at #2,  Eastview High in Apple Valley is the top public school at #3.

Brainerd is the highest ranked high school in the Lakes Area with a #69 ranking.

North Central Minnesota high school rankings:

#222- Pequot Lakes

#226- Crosby-Ironton

#229- Pillager

Area schools not listed fell into the lumped #283-416 range.
