
Celebrate Bean Hole Days in Pequot Lakes continues through today, July 19th! This one-of-a-kind event is rootin’ tootin’ good fun for the whole family! The huge cast iron kettles of beans were buried on Tuesday night. They cooked overnight and will be served today, July 19th at noon to more than 3,000 hungry visitors. Lines form early, so make sure to purchase a 2023 Bean Hole Days mug and head to the front of the “Fast Pass for Gas” line!
Trailside Park in the center of town is teaming with people visiting craft vendors, playing games, and enjoying free beans. Make the trip to Pequot Lakes for northern Minnesota’s quirkiest small town celebration!
Here is a rundown of what is happening at Beanhole Days today:
9AM – 2PM // Craft Fair and Food Vendors (South Trailside Park).
9AM – 4PM // Kid’s Activities (South Trailside Park).
Kids’ Bungee & Trampoline Jump, Water Wars.
11:30AM // Crowning of King & Queen Bean (South Trailside Park).
Beans are declared ready to eat!
12PM // Serving of the Beans (South Trailside Park).
Friendly volunteers serve a delicious free meal of baked beans, dinner roll and water.
12 – 2PM // The Memories of Elvis Tribute Show by Chris Olson (South Trailside Park).
We’re thrilled to have Chris Olson performing his Memories of Elvis Tribute Show! Attendees will enjoy the King of Rock while waiting for the delicious and famous Bean Hole Days beans. Bring your lawn chair and sit back to enjoy the free show!
1 – 2PM // Drive Up and Pick Up To Go Beans (Pequot Lakes Chamber Parking Lot, East Woodman Street).
The Pequot Lakes Royalty, sponsored by Community Action, will be serving up containers of beans to go, car side, while supplies last! Please enter the parking lot, south of the Pequot Lakes Welcome Center to grab yours while they’re hot! Cost is TBD.
