It was a good run… Gull Dam Brewing, the first microbrewery that opened in Nisswa in 2014, will be closing its doors December 31st.
Owners Barb and Mark Anderson announced on their Facebook page that they will be retiring after 4 years in business.
Gull Dam Brewing is planning on going out like they came in… in style with The Lamont Cranston Band. On Saturday, December 29th, the Anderson’s are planning a huge retirement party in the Gull Dam Taproom featuring The Lamont Cranston Band. Mark said, “It’s the perfect ending, the same legendary band that opened the brewery, returning for the finale.”
Monday, December 31, New Year’s Eve Day will be the final day the taproom will be open.
But as for Gull Dam beer completely going away, not necessarily… Plans are to sell the business.
